You can read alot of media coverage about Al by just Googling "Al Bartell Senate" -- the content goes all the way back to 2002! The Marietta Daily Journal reported a poll that had Al with a potential 5% of the popular vote, demonstrating the possibility of Al's impact in a projected run-off in the Special Election.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution's BIll Torpy also recently quoted Al in a Torpy-At-Large commentary about the Atlanta shootings surge.
